LAW FAIR 2019
The annual Law Fair held by Kent Student Law Society has seen substantial growth year on year. Our biggest Law Fair yet was held in 2019 with a variety of attendees including students, law firms and educational providers. The 2019 Law Fair was organised by our talented Yoginni Gopal, who is now our Vice President for the academic year 2020/21. Yoginni worked alongside the Kent Law School Career Development Officer Jayne Instone and the previous committee to host a fantastic event. The event provided an insightful experience for law students and non-law students looking for a career in law. You can see the full list of attendees below…

The 2019 Law Fair was a great opportunity for students to network, which aided them when applying for vacation schemes and training contracts. Educational providers also offered a valuable insight into the new SQE route, allowing students to better understand why and how these changes would be implemented. Students came fully prepared, owing to a variety of events beforehand on how to speak to professionals and subsequent questions to ask. Students left the event with many Linkedin connections and improved knowledge in the legal sector. We would like to thank all of the attendees at the Law Fair in 2019, it was an extremely successful event with attendance reaching over 800 people. We hope to host an event equally successful in the upcoming year.
